Benjamin C. Garden, M.D.
Dr. Benjamin Garden is a board-certified dermatologist with a focus in laser and cosmetic therapy. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yeshiva University in New York City. He earned his medical degree from Cornell University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Hofstra University in NYC. After his long exile on the East Coast, Dr. Garden was happy to return with his family to Chicago to complete his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Garden joined Physicians Laser and Dermatology Institute after completing his residency to focus on laser and cosmetic therapies. He is involved with the many research and clinical trials at PLDI. Additionally, he continues to be involved in education as a Clinical Instructor in dermatology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and an attending physician at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center.
Dr. Benjamin Garden has published numerous articles and chapters in the field of laser surgery and dermatology. He is a fellow of and has served on committees for the American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Dermatological Society, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
